Real Estate, Design, and Life in Toronto
This weekend, we spent the night wandering the streets looking at art. People young and old were out in droves for this all night art event that has become a yearly tradition for many Torontonians.
Launched in 2006, and based on an event that had its start in Paris, the Scotiabank Nuit Blanche is a free all-night urban art exploration. The event runs from dusk until dawn and features installations and interactive exhibits. Exhibits are are located around the central core of the city making it easy for people to spend the night simply walking from exhibit to exhibit.
Here are some of this year’s exhibits:
This, I Build For You by David R. Harper
Monster Child by Libby Hague
(X)Static Clown Factory by Ruth Spitzer and Claire Ironside
Parallax by Idea Tank Design Collective
Ferris Wheel by Katharine Harvey
Forever Bicycles by Ai Weiwei
Garden Tower in Toronto by Tadashi Kawamata
